Parents are invited to participate in this year’s 5Essentials Survey. The feedback you offer will be used to improve our schools and guide plans for next school year.

We celebrated our 100th day of school this week! We reflected on where we’d been and our hopes for the next 80 days.

The SVMS Chess Team participated in the Franklin Chess Tournament. Many of our students earned medals, the team won a total of 38 matches, and SV was the TOP scoring team!

The annual 5Essentials Parent Survey is ready to complete! The survey will likely take between 15-30 minutes to complete.

Sangamon Valley Primary will be accepting canned food and non-perishable items February 5-9 in all classes (Pre-K through 2nd).

We are so proud of our students and all that they achieved second quarter!

As you may know, the U.S. Department of Education announced that FAFSA Submission Summary forms for high school and college students will not be processed until sometime in March.

Way to Go Lady Storm volleyball team — they played well tonight and it was great to see a lot of team support!

Despite the frigid temps, fog, and rain, SVI persevered for three jam packed days this week! Luckily, I was able to visit several classrooms!

The Sangamon Valley FFA Chapter is selling strawberries! Orders must be placed and paid for by February 14.

As of Tuesday 1/9, HS Chess practices are underway. If you are interested in participating, there is still time to get started, even if you have no chess experience.
